A reputable company on Mandela Avenue is seeking a Data Entry/Inventory Control Clerk.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for entering information that is error-free into
computer systems to create accessible records for future use. Their main duties include
updating the company database, digitizing physical records, and preparing periodic reports.

Job Description :

The Data Entry/Inventory Control Clerk’s most important duties and responsibilities include
(but is not limited to):
● Entering data into the central database
● Cataloging the data with appropriate tags for ease of reference
● Transferring physical records into a digital filing system
● Retrieving data as requested
● Maintaining and updating the database system as necessary
● Generating periodic reports
● Indexing and filing invoices

Education & Experience :

For a candidate to fulfill their responsibilities effectively as a Data Entry Clerk, you will
need to have the following prerequisite skills and qualifications:
● Impeccable attention to detail
● In-depth knowledge of database systems
● Working knowledge of spreadsheets and other word processing tools
● Strong ability to work quickly and accurately
● General administration skills
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills
● Great interpersonal and customer service skills
● A sound educational background will be preferred.
● Previous experience in data entry, office administration, secretarial or related
roles will be an asset.
● The role also requires a strong background in working with computers and
dealing with large amounts of information.
